Migration for Your Store
1. Code Migration Phase
We commence with an audit of all Magento 1 extensions and custom modules. We identify and approve Magento 2 equivalents, investigate whether native Magento 2 functionality covers existing features, and document custom functionalities for the Magento 2 setup.
2. Data Migration Phase
Our team reviews both Magento 1 default and custom entities and approves those migrating to Magento 2. The data migration effort, including custom entities, is subsequently estimated.
3. UI/UX Migration
This stage addresses frontend design, evaluating whether the existing design will be replicated or updated. All additional changes are listed and estimated.
4. Integrations Migration
We list all existing integrations, approve that migration, and check the availability of compatible Magento 2 extensions. We estimate the custom development of integrations and installation and customization of third-party extensions.
5. Implementation
Here, we set up the migration environment, install Magento 2 and necessary extensions, migrate data, and work on theming.
6. Final Testing Phase
Thorough testing is conducted at all migration stages, scrutinizing functionality individually and as a whole. The final testing phase signals the site's readiness, prompting us to plan the launch date.
7. Incremental Data Transfer (Delta Migration)
As new data populate your Magento 1 store during migration, we migrate this data to ensure no loss.
8. Website Launch
With maintenance mode activated, we complete delta migration, go through the launch checklist to ensure compliance with requirements, and deactivate the maintenance mode, unveiling your revamped Magento 2 store.
